I am an experienced, writer, editor and publisher who has created award-winning magazines across the world. My writing has appeared everywhere from Esquire and Rolling Stone to Foreign Policy and the Guardian.
In recent years, I have worked with UN agencies, governments, and global NGOs to translate complex climate and education policy into clear, credible communication – particularly around flagship reports, COP moments, donor-facing narratives, and institutional messaging. My focus is on synthesis, framing, and editorial judgment in high-stakes contexts where accuracy, political nuance, and credibility matter.
Much of this work involves bringing coherence to multi-stakeholder inputs, strengthening clarity for non-technical audiences, and ensuring communications are aligned with policy realities and funding priorities.
I have also created a number of magazines including the independent travel magazine We Are Here and the quarterly title We Are Dublin. I also published a book about swimming spots in Ireland, At Swim, which sold out in 10 days and a book about magazine publishing, the Magazine Blueprint which sold out in two weeks.
I also wrote and published the first satirical guidebook on Dubai, The Dubai 50 and created the first mobile travel guide to Afghanistan, Wndr Kabul. I have worked with a number of brands on publishing projects including Emirates, The Abu Dhabi Tourist Board, China Airlines, Air Macau, Al Ghurair Centre, Jashanmal and the Assilah Festival in Morocco.
I have also launched and relaunched magazines for the likes of Emirates Airlines and Jumeirah Hotels.
